SAM Basket International Youth Tournament 2025: first place for Žalgiris (U16) and Taber Pro (U14)

The 2025 edition of the SAM Basket International Youth Tournament has come to a close. Taber Pro claimed victory in the U14 category, while in an epic final, Žalgiris Kaunas triumphed over China with a score of 73-80. The Switzerland U16 team secured third place, defeating the Spanish team Taber Pro with a score of 73-80.

For the Lithuanians, this marks their second success in the tournament, organized by SAM Basket Massagno, achieved after facing the Chinese national team twice at the Nosedo in Massagno: first in the group stage and then in the final.

The SAM Basket International Youth Tournament 2026 will take place from Friday, April 3, to Monday, April 6. // Va in archivio anche l'edizione 2025 del SAM Basket International Youth Tournament. A spuntarla sono Taber Pro nella categoria U14 e, in una finale epica, lo Žalgiris Kaunas che vince contro la Cina con il punteggio di 73-80.

Al terzo posto in classifica si piazza la Svizzera U16 che prevale sugli spagnoli del Taber Pro per 73-80.

Per i Lituani si tratta del secondo successo nel Torneo, organizzato dalla SAM Basket Massagno, ottenuto al termine di una sfida contro la nazionale cinese che è andata in scena per ben due volte alla Nosedo di Massagno: la prima nel gruppo e l'ultima nella finale.

Il SAM Basket International Youth Tournament 2026 si terrà da venerdì 3 a lunedì 6 aprile.
